Thanks to all those who honored nine Vietnam veterans who died almost fifty years after the Vietnam War ended. They died from exposure to Agent Orange. They are Sons. Brothers. Husbands. Fathers. Friends. These nine veterans took a lot longer to die, and some suffered for years with horrible diseases that I can’t even pronounce. Most died within the last few years. But they’re just as dead from the war. Casualties of War.
Nine Vietnam veterans names were unveiled today, June 17, 2023. Their names carved into granite at the Agent Orange Memorial as a reminder to the horrors of war. They are: ETN2 Dennis Recoy, Navy. FN John Lester, Navy. Sp4 James Kuroda, Army. Sgt. Paul Klikno, Marines. Sgt. Joseph James, Army. Sgt. Robert Hunter, Marines. Sgt. Clarence Honecker, Marines. UT3 Daniel “Seabee” Burd, Navy. Sp5.
